Some accessorizing...

Ya so I am REALLY into accessorizing now thats it's warm out here. (don't ask why) But some of my favs are Vera Bradley, lace,and big necklaces and bracelets. And since thats not really crafty, i will do a step by step on the necklace hanger.... But first the pics...

Ya i know i look like a piece of crap, i've been sick so whatever...So, for the board, you first buy a piece of cork board (whatever size you want or need). You then pick out a fabric of any density really then cover it... i found super glue does NOT work ( as usual...:( ) So I used staples and some fabric glue. Then hang it up following any instructions on cork board wrapper if given. I recommend using push pins to hang the jewelry,if it is a heavier necklace you might want to use two pins on that one. I highly recommend making this! It is a cheap way to get your jewelry organized! GOOD LUCK!

A Silky Spring

Hi! Yes its been awhile, i havent exactly been keeping up on the once a week thing have I? I'll post a couple today to make up for it. Anywho.... these are a few of the silk paintings I've done. They are super pretty and the scarfs can be made for any season depending on the color! Isn't that awesome?! My personal fav is spring because the colors are light and bright!!!! But ya they are super fun to dye and they can have a purpose! Yay for silk and spring!

SORRY but I'm baaaack!

HI! Sorry its been FOREVER! but i have been so busy with school and everything so I'm really sorry! ANYWAY.... I will try to post more again.... we will see... Haha. This is a converse shoe i made out of sculpey. A cool hint with this clay is....Once you cook it and everything, paint it with clear nail polish and it will look like plastic! Well that my tip for today! Check back soon!

This is some bottle cap jewelry that I have made over the course of a few years. You have probably made some at some point also. Almost all of them came in little kits. They are really easy, really fun, and really simple! Three reallys! That has got to be a good thing!

Craving Cupcakes...

Today I am "modeling" a pair of cupcake earrings that I have made out of Sculpey III. I have done several Sculpey III posts already, but the earrings are just so cute. I am really into jewelry that is shaped like food right now. :) Credits to Style Walrus on the first pic... I am rocking one of her poses!

I'm Back!

I just had the best week of my life in New Orleans with all of my church friends at Challenge 2012! Also, if you love Christian Contemporary music, check out the Kristian Stanfill band on iTunes. They are the band that did the worship there. ANYWAY..... Check out this bracelet I got that is handmade by a Haitian woman and most of the proceeds went to Haiti! So awesome!
